Founded by Piero and Emanuele Castellini, C&C was created by a fusion of architecture and textiles. Piero Castellini Baldissera, refined architect and interior decorator, follows the tradition of his grandfather Piero Portaluppi who played an important role in Italian architecture of the 1930s. Pride in its family history and the heritage of a longstanding textile tradition contribute to forming C&C Milano's strong identity. The bond between textiles and the Castellini family dates back to the mid-XIX century, when Clateo developed his passion for linen and took over a linen and hemp spinning factory. Today, after four generations, it is this same passion that motivates Piero and Emanuele Castellini to maintain the standards of excellence of the original C. Castellini & C.  

 

Inspired by the colours and atmosphere of the Mediterranean, the C&C collection is expression
of  Italian taste and elegance. The rich textures, warm colours and unusual co-ordinations are the leitmotiv of C&C.

 

C&C�s strength lies in the exclusive collection of fabrics in 150 cm width for furnishings and curtains and 300 cm width for sheets, tablecloths and curtains. The fabrics are milled with colour-fast dyed yarns. The iridescent effect is achieved by combining two different shades of yarn in the weft and warp, creating rich nuances of hues on linen, silk, cotton and velvet.

 

Cashmere, linen, silk and velvet are the leading characters: elegant bed linen, and table linen create a refined and sensual atmosphere. For the sheer pleasure of sleeping in fresh and natural materials, C&C offers a range of bed linen made with finest yarn mostly linen and cotton in various weights. The collection consists of an enormous variety of colours ranging from white to natural, delicate pastels to hot and spicy, classic mattress stripes to herringbone.
